Planning Our Learning Platform Strategy
Learning is part of the ProjektExodus heart and soul — not just building digital tools, but empowering others to use them. As we plan our future academy, we’re starting with the foundation: planning our learning platform strategy. This post shares how we’re approaching that plan — from content structure to access levels — and what tools we’re using to turn it into a scalable system.
Why Planning Our Learning Platform Strategy Matters
Launching a course isn’t just about uploading videos or PDFs. It requires:
- Defining clear outcomes for learners
- Structuring content to support progress
- Making access levels intuitive and fair
- Building with scalability from day one
By planning our strategy now, we ensure the system can grow with our users — whether they’re beginners or professionals.
Planning Our Learning Platform Strategy with Tiered Access
We’ve structured our academy with five access levels:
- Public – Free basic lessons for all visitors
- Registered/Members – Extra content and downloads for signed-in users
- Student – Full course access for enrolled learners
- Expert – Unlimited access with future perks like certificates
This tiered model lets us deliver value gradually while giving users a reason to grow with us.
Tools Behind the Platform
We’re building the system on:
- WordPress with the Themify Ultra theme for design
- LifterLMS to manage course content and enrollments
- Yoast SEO for discoverability
- Polylang, soon to be replaced by WPML, for multilingual access
These tools help us align with our goals while staying agile.
How We Structure Courses
Each course follows a consistent flow:
- Course overview with metadata and value
- Modules, each with lessons, cheat sheets, and assets
- Quizzes or progress markers to validate learning
- A certificate teaser to signal future value
We plan to start with Basic HTML and expand from there.
Final Thoughts
Building a course platform takes more than content — it takes vision, structure, and adaptability. By planning our learning platform strategy now, we’re laying the groundwork for something that grows alongside our users and stays aligned with our mission to empower creators and entrepreneurs.
